A BIT OF BACKGROUND

Have you every heard someone say, "By the Grace of God, I did ... so and so... "   I'll be the first to tell you that Sashinkas Kennels has come together over the years by the Grace of God.  I cannot tell you the number of times, especially early on, where things just fell into place against all odds.  I feel truly blessed that our little business here in North Alabama is thriving.  We have been breeding animals since 2006.  We love our dobies and love it even more that we get to share them with you.   We strive to breed the best animals we can.  Originally we did not plan to operate as a professional Dog Breeder, we just wanted a wonderful pet for ourselves.  Let me back up a bit.  I had my first doberman as a young girl about 10 years old. His name was Ben.  I loved him with all my heart and I thought he was the most amazing dog EVER.   Over the years, my love for the doberman breed has only grown.  So, back to how this all got going.  We bought an AKC registered doberman as a family pet.  One turned into two.  Two turned into three.  Three into four.  Well, you get the idea.   As the doberman count increased so did our knowledge of the breed and before I knew it we were in the business of sharing the doberman breed with the world.  We have decided to always stay small enough to be hands on.  This is our business but more importantly these are our babies.  As you check out our Dams and Sires pages, you will notice I have mostly European dogs but have recently added back a few American dogs as well.  Our hope is that we can either introduce you to a lifetime love of dobermans or help a doberman lover find their new friend.  What we know for sure is, once you own a doberman you will never be without one (or use the bathroom alone again.)
